Aquaflex AQUAFLEX is a unique sensor that measures both soil moisture and soil temperature. The 3m long flexible tape can be laid in soil in a variety of configurations. Some examples are on an angle to give a depth profile, in a coil to go around the root ball of trees, in a loop to fit in a confined space etc. The 3m length means that moisture is measured in a 6 litre volume of soil. This is extremely important given the variability of soil (even in well prepared plots) and non uniformity of water application etc. The Aquaflex sensor is particularly suited to monitoring soil moisture in turf, pasture and shallow rooted applications and can also be used in conjunction with other sensors that are more suited for vertical profile measurements.

Aquatel TDR The TDR probe monitors soil moisture reliably in all types of soils at all moisture levels. Soil Moisture in fields, turf, landscapes, and greenhouses may be monitored equally well.The sensor reads the percent of available moisture by volume. The Soil Moisture Sensor measures the dielectric constant, which is directly related to water content in reasonable growing conditions. The probe consists of a small electronic module encapsulated for environmental protection attached to one end of a cylindrical probe. The rest of the probe is used to measure the water content. A 3 metre cable is provided to supply power and read the Soil Moisture signal and an optional temperature signal

Hydrosense The HydroSense System combines a compact, handheld display and a sophisticated soil water sensing probe in a portable package to provide quick and reliable soil water content measurements. Each measurement takes less than one second and is obtained by inserting the probe rods into the soil and pressing a single button on the display unit. A choice of 12- or 20-cm long probe rods makes HydroSense a versatile portable tool for measuring soil moisture.
